NSW Planning Portal – Government Service Fees

The NSW Government is introducing service fees for certain applications on the NSW Planning Portal that are payable by the applicant during the application process.

These fees support the ongoing maintenance and delivery of the NSW Planning Portal.

We note that with the mandatory use of the Planning Portal for all DA lodgement, a number of Councils have introduced with their 2021/2022 Fees and Charges Schedules, a new fee related to the Digital Recording of Electronic Applications – the fees vary from $15 to $110 in addition to the DA Application Fees.
